Qantas has launched a sale to 10 Asian destinations, as demand for the region has jumped dramatically.
The Flying Kangaroo has slashed prices to Tokyo, Bali, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bengaluru, but only for a limited time.
One of the most anticipated flights is Sydney to Sapporo, which returns on December 7 and will help Aussies get to Japan for the snow season.
There will also be flights in February through to late March, the peak of the Hokkaido snow season.
Economy fares start from $1,349 return from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Currently, flights are around the same price but would involve a layover in Tokyo.
But for those who have no interest in hitting the slopes, there will also be discounted flights in late March and early April to Tokyo to help Aussies see cherry blossom season.
Cam Wallace, Qantas International’s CEO, said Japan is one of the “most popular destinations” on the airline’s international network.
“There’s also great value right across the rest of Asia, from Bali and Singapore to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Manila and Bengaluru, so whether it’s a week by the pool, a long weekend of food and shopping, or a trip to see family, there’s something here for every kind of traveller,” Cam said.
Currently, flights to Bali from Sydney could set Aussies back $1,037, but the sale means travellers would only have to spend $699.
The sale kicks off today and runs until September 21, covering select flights between October 2026 and June 2027.
